Hello Dear Friend,

Exactly six months ago today, we were still in the Christmas festive mode. Depending on where you are you may have had parties to celebrate Christmas with friends and family. It was a beautiful time.

No one knew what the days ahead were bringing. We were however, glad about the turn of a new decade 2020. Countries prepared, people set goals, 2020 was the year to look forward to. Some years before now, vision 2020 for many people was exciting to think about.

2020 did arrive and boy! was it loaded with surprises all over the world. Unprecedented occurrences everywhere. So many things were shaken!

The first half of the year demanded of human beings more than they thought they had in them to deliver in a short space of six months.

In your own space, you too might have been stretched in the last six months. One thing is sure. We have stepped into a new normal and you and I having been stretched will never return to what we were. We now have:

More capacity

More knowledge

More resilience

More courage

More perseverance

More gratitude.

So, bearing these in mind, get ready for the second half of 2020.

Look ahead armed with all that you came out of the first half with and step into a brand new 2020. If the first half of the year was not as kind, get ready for a completely different outcome of fulfilled dreams, achieved goals and granted heart desires. Determine to have a glorious six months till the end of the year. Take cue from Philippians 4:8

And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honourable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.

Let the verse above be  part of your watch words for the rest of the year. Share them with your family as well.

Lastly, don’t forget that God also has big plans for you this year and there is still ample time to step into them. Let his goals for your family life be your goals too. Let his thoughts for your children be your thoughts as well, and since his thoughts and plans are always good, you can rest assured knowing that if you share in them, they will bring fulfilment.

Get ready for pleasant and beautiful things.

Have a splendid weekend.

Much Love

Joy
